EMBO Telomere Conference

Opresko lab postdocs, Mariarosaria De Rosa and Samantha Sanford, traveled to Lazise, Italy for the EMBO Telomere function and maintenance in health and disease workshop from May 25-30. Mariarosaria was selected to present her work, “Regulation of TERRA by Telomeric 8-Oxoguanine in ALT+ Cancer Cells”. Sam, chosen for a microtalk, presented a snippet of her work, “Impact of Nucleotide Metabolism on Telomerase Mediated Telomere Synthesis in Cancers” and encouraged a lot of interest to her poster.
