EMGS Rochester

Dr. Opresko, Mariarosaria, Samantha, Theresa, Libby, and Gannon all attended the 56th Annual Meeting of the Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society in Rochester, NY. Patty presided over the meeting as EMGS President, and Theresa won the Best Poster Award in DNA Repair. Mery gave an outstanding talk on the roles of oxidative damage in regulating telomere transcripts and epigenetics. Lab members enjoyed networking, exploring the Strong Museum of Play, and bowling with other EMGS members at Radio Social.
