Drs Opresko and Samantha Sanford attended the Fundamental Aspects of DNA Repair and Mutagenesis (FARM) Meeting in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Opresko alumnus, Dr Ryan Barnes, now at Kansas University Medical Center. Both Patty and Ryan delivered talks about their work. Sam received the Best Poster Award: Post Doctorate level for her work on 6-thio-dG inhibition of telomerase. They had a great time connecting with colleagues studying DNA Repair in South America.
